Issue Position

All Oregonians need a safe and healthy environment. The climate crisis is right here at home, evidenced by wildfires, drought, and major ocean shoreline erosion. Time is running out to prevent irreparable damage to our state and our planet. Lisa sees the impact of this crisis in her exam rooms when more patients come to her office with breathing problems. She understands that the climate crisis disproportionately affects children and communities of color, who live in the more polluted areas of our city.

In the Oregon House, Lisa will:

Vote in favor of cap and trade legislation

Include communities of color in the policy discussion because they are effected first and worst

Push for stronger clean air legislation, including requiring clean diesel in construction sites
